Which Images Need a Label?
Article 50 targets content that could be mistaken for reality. Clearly artistic or obviously synthetic graphics generally aren't the point of the obligation.

Free Means Free
You shouldn't have to pay to obey the law. Every feature needed to comply with Article 50 is in the free version, and stays there. A Pro version is coming for agencies who want automatic AI detection, retroactive scans and in-editor checks — convenience, never compliance.
Questions
Does it work with my theme or page builder?
Yes. Disclosio works at the rendering level rather than inside a specific builder, so it's compatible by design with any theme — Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi and others. CSS background images are covered too.
Is the free version really enough to comply?
Yes. Classification, the disclosure button, the labels and the site-wide mode are all free. Pro adds automation and convenience for people managing many sites.
What happens on 2 August 2026?
Article 50 of the EU AI Act becomes applicable. From that date, AI-generated and AI-manipulated content must be disclosed. Penalties reach €15 million or 3% of worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher.
Will it slow down my site?
No. The frontend footprint is minimal, background detection is cached with transients, and nothing loads on pages without AI content.
Which languages are included?
English, Italian, German, French and Spanish, with translation files included and a configuration file for WPML and Polylang.
